Knowledge

We expect you to have a good knowledge and understanding of the calculation of (steel / concrete) architectural constructions. You will have acquired this knowledge through your studies (preferably Master of Architecture or Electromechanics) or through experience. Knowledge of national and international standards such as BIN, DIN, EC, etc. is desirable. Knowledge of the software that we use (Esa Prima Win; Scia engineer) is certainly an asset.

As a junior draftsman you will work on the development of steel constructions  in a team of two or more colleagues from your department. You will have some knowledge of steel constructions and CAD drawing software / tekla structures, or you are willing to learn this. Once you have mastered drawing out construction plans you will be given the opportunity to model small projects under the guidance of an experienced draftsman.

To realise all this, Stendess has a professional team of twenty employees between the ages of 20 and 40. Younger employees can rely on the many years of specialised technical expertise of their more experienced colleagues.

Depending on the assignment, the projects' drawing work is carried out by a team that either focuses on "sheet metal work" or on "profile work". The engineers, on the other hand, work in a multidisciplinary manner. However, through time most of them develop a preference for bridge construction or profile work.
